Although getting hot and feeling the end of her pregnancy Nikki was so wonderful to photograph and really didn’t complain one bit about having to stand for a little while during her session. Thank you Nikki, I enjoyed our time together.

Little people are just always so adorable. The way they interrupt things and the way they think. It is something that always makes us smile!

When I met Kassie and her absolutely gorgeous little girl my heart instantly saw connections and I started “photographing” them in my mind (I do this a bit when I meet people actually). But seriously, there are moments during a session that can’t ever be scripted or controlled. The look on a little persons face as she looks at her parents – just melts us all.

As you can see Jess looks so amazing, and not quite ready to have the baby as she looks just too amazing (you have to agree right)?

I am really looking forward to that special time with them in the studio again to see if the baby is a boy or a girl. Can’t wait for that!

With the days warming up and little breeze (and so many cane fires in the region) the light has been really unique the past few days. It is always glowing this time of year, but it is really, really orange. Tracey looked amazing in the field of long grass as Clinton and I stood back and saw how beautiful she was. It was a really sweet moment.

I am really excited about meeting their baby in a few weeks time – and I wish you all the very best Tracey with your upcoming birth.

And to see how much Kirsten’s adorable Mum loves and cares for her and her to be born Grandchild was a special moment for me. I am excited to see these guys with this little one really soon.

Bec and Dave are expecting a baby in the coming weeks and when I asked Dave if he was a little excited he literally jumped around. I was so happy and excited for them.

Their maternity session was  a very moving one, as the emotion filled the room. Bec and Dave are going to be amazing and devoted parents.

I have had the most amazing time sharing a journey with her, it started with her booking her wedding, a family session, and now a maternity session. When I found out Kamala and Steve were expecting another beautiful little one I was literally bursting at the seams.

My clients don’t stay as a client. They usually become a friend, and someone that I enjoy being with. Kamala has a wonderful, natural photographic ability and has acutally been doing some wedding work with me (until her belly started getting too big). And she – I have no doubt — will become a major competitor soon!

Yesterday we had an ideas board and came up with so many fun images. As you can see we decided to use some of my old camera bodies to help tell her story. Isn’t she just perfect?

Kamala, thank you – for being you most of all. For your support, your fun and your energy and enthusiastic attitude. A massive thank you for being happy for me to share your nude shots too – as I said I would be happy to look like that ANY time! 9 days to go!

When I met these guys they were pregnant with their big boy, look at him now! I got to see him within hours of his birth for some photographs, which was amazing.
This time we are doing before and after shots. You have to agree that not only are they the cutest family but they also are so connected.

The only way for families to be – connected!

Carrie was a bridesmaid in a wedding I photographed last year, and she was stunning and I really knew I wanted to photograph her stunning family. I mean, look at these girls!!! We had a wonderful time together, especially when Carrie and I headed to the location shots. She had me laughing so hard.

Thank you guys, so much for spending this special time with me. This little man is going to be one happy and very loved little guy. So fortunate.

As this is going to be Nicole’s last pregnancy she decided to have this special (and short lived) time in her life photographed. Although Sunday was a tad chilly outdoors with not too much on Nicole soldiered on and was a beautiful model in the stunning, warm and glowing afternoon light. Winter light never fails. It is always so delicious.
