Butterflies and wedding bells

I was really excited on the weekend to photograph a wedding with another local photographer. They were such a sweet couple and it was a very touching and emotional ceremony – just the way weddings are meant to be! The had little butterflies leading down the aisle that I wanted to capture.

I love the details at weddings, these are the little things that personalise the day and make it the couples. I always photograph the details no matter how small as in the end they are big :)

Baby Bump WINNER

I want to announce that I have chosen a winner for my baby bump competition. “B” contacted me after seeing some other maternity photographs she had seen of the beautiful Mum below.

She let me know that this is her baby #4 and as yet she hasn’t had any portraits taken – sounds like a very deserving winner to me. Congratulations to you B and I look forward to seeing you and the family soon.

Time for Christmas already?

Can you believe I am making you think about xmas already? I am now taking bookings for those who require prints returned to them in time for Christmas. The latest I will take bookings is mid November, so it is best to get in early if you need the prints for gifts.

Also I am offering gift certificates, so that may help you with a present for a hard-to-buy-for relative or friend. Contact me for further details. I know this year is going to be over before I realise. I hope it has been a wonderful year for you all.

Take care

Photography seminars and new friends

Last week I was able to attend a 4 day seminar at the Gold Coast “August Exposure”. It was wonderful and exciting to see some fantastic and inspiring photographers and hear them talk. It definately has given me that fire in my belly with my business! I got the opportunity to share a room with an amazing woman who is also an amazing photographer. Kat and I hit off like nothing else, and she is a lifetime friend I know! I can’t wait to see her again soon. Check out her work here: www.zashphotography.com.au/

Here is a photograph of Kat and I together (I look exhausted as I totally was – but it was a great and worth it feeling!).
