Claire

Baby Claire was simply beautiful to photograph. She quite loved laying all nice and curled up on the bean bag. She also was more then happy to be snuggled by her loving family for images too.

I met Alison and Kerryn when they were brand new parents to little Finn (who has grown up too fast). When clients come back with a new baby it is always such a buzz to see them again.

Introducing beautiful Claire:

Twins x2

As part of “The Twins Project – 2013” I was fortunate enough to photograph not one set of twins but two – within the same family even!!

Samantha and Peta are adult twins and Samantha then went on to have twins herself – Jack and Zoey. You have to admit that as twins they are all so gorgeous!

The session quickly turned into a lot of fun with cousins all giggling along and enjoying exploring one of my beautiful farm locations. It was an afternoon that I myself throughly enjoyed as I am also a twin and understand and appreciate the lovely gift I have with my sister too!

Peta and Samantha are loving parents and I know that they are surrounded with fun, carefree and gentle spirits.

Beijing to Bangkok with 4 Walls

Over Easter this year the family and I were fortunate enough to see a “Bucket List” item of mine come true. We flew to Beijing via Singapore where we stayed for 3 days of some interesting adventures. From there we then cruised to Bangkok.

For me travel is what I work so very hard for, I will do without a lot to see more of the world. I find other cultures so intriguing, I love to see how they interact, parent, work and what they eat. I must say in these Asian countries though a lot of their favourite foods literally turned my stomach! Ewww!

Seeing the new worlds through my girls eyes always makes me appreciate that we can do this together. They learn so much by these experiences. Here are a few images to share (I shall make some comments underneath as they might need explaining).

Cameron and Rachael

Married in April on a stunning afternoon at the cutest little church were Cameron and Rachael.

The boys were very relaxed and laid back when getting ready, lots of laughing was going on. Occasionally at my craziness I think..all part of the fun!

The girls were super excited and full of energy when I arrived, Rachael was literally jumping up and down with excitement. When we all headed down stairs the screams from the girls once they saw their stretched hummer were infectious. We were all buzzing with happiness and excitement knowing that it was the day that Cameron and Rachael were to be married.

This really was the theme for the entire day, as a group they all laughed and had a great time. I really enjoyed the entire experience.

Cam and Rach you are such a sweet couple who I know had a beautiful wedding day. May all the days that follow remind you of the love and excitement you shared on this one day together.

Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of what was a wonderful, wonderful day.

Viva Las Vegas

Way back in March (the year is flying by) I was fortunate enough to fly all the way to Las Vegas for the annual WPPI gathering. This basically is a meeting place for photographers from all over the world to gather and attend workshops, seminars and networking.

I went with some of my lovely photographer friends and had an amazing time. Not always working though – I mean you can’t fly that far and not see some of the place.

For me the highlight by far was going to see “O”. A circus act that literally blew my mind. I had to keep reminding myself that humans are doing this – it was just that amazing!!

I wanted to share a few images from my little point and shoot:
