Pepper(mint)

The Sunshine Coast Hinterland – WOW don’t you just adore that place? The cute little shops, the cheese, the view and the greenery. I adore it!

When Bec contacted me and let me know she wanted a shoot that way I was very excited and jumped at the chance. We waiting with excitement for little Peppermint (known as Pepper) to be born and then come home to be part of the session.

Isn’t she the cutest? She was built in entertainment that’s for sure.

Thank you all for a beautiful afternoon.

Happy Mothers’ Day 2012

Being a Mother….how do you try and define or describe that role in our lives? As a Mum myself I find it near impossible to put into words how I feel about that part of my life.

Two healthy little girls who I laugh with, grow and learn with. Two lovely girls that have made me the person I am today. Two beautiful girls that are my world.

My life would not feel alive without them.

Happy Mothers’ Day to my readers out there. I hope your day is full of love, appreciate and hugs. Know that you are the world to your child/ren and to them you are the best!

To those who have lost their Mother or loved ones my heart is with you, as you remember them and the way they touched your life. And a special mention to the children no longer here with us to say Happy Mother’s Day to their Mums.

Happy Mothers’ Day to everyone deserving and loving of the title of “MUM”

I wanted to share a few personal images from my Mothering…..

Adored

Brent and Michelle came by the studio and lovingly watch their new, tiny baby boy being photographed. I love that about the studio – parents are able to sit back on my comfy couch and adore their new baby as s/he is looking WAY too cute being photographed.

Baby Thomas was very sleepy and happy to have his photographs taken. It was really fantastic to be the one photographing him. His Mummy and Daddy just adore him, as you can see!

Quick – Mother’s Day is sneaking up on you!

Be sure to spoil Mum and the whole family with an updated family portrait.

Unbelievable value (and easy for the partners to organise!)

Lucy and Jack

When I had a call letting me know this family were expecting twins I was oh-so-excited! It was going to be a challenge to photograph but one that I was very happy and keen to make happen.

Lucy was busy feeding and getting settled so to start with I photographed the tiny Jack. Born at only 4 pounds it really was surreal to hold him. He was super sleepy and loved laying on the baby beanbag for his session. Lucy eventually gave in and nodded off and allowed the rest of the session to follow.

Meeting people is my favourite part of my job – hearing their stories is a pleasure.

It is going to be wonderful to see if eventually Jack grows bigger then Lucy.
